I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Certified Health Coach, with a background working in the traditional sick care system as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
My journey to find root cause wellness approaches started with my own health issues that went unrecognized and inadequately treated for years, potentially worsened by the treatment I was given.
Long story short, through a systematic approach to support the body to rebalance at the foundation and root, I found a path to my own wellness, where I now know how to support my body going forward; and I did this through the thick of motherhood, followed by the roller coaster ride of perimenopausal hormone changes (with the scale seriously stuck on GAIN, despite my best efforts for diet and exercise!! Thank goodness I figured out how to flip switch!)
